In Cameroon, many young people face the challenge of not being able to continue their education for financial or social reasons. At the same time, sewing offers a valuable crafting skill that is an opportunity for income generation. This project proposal aims to connect these two needs while supporting social initiatives in Germany. Project goal: The creation of a sewing shop in Cameroon that offers disadvantaged young people the opportunity to learn a craft and at the same time have a source of income. The manufactured products are sold in Germany to generate income for charitable projects.

Implementation steps:

1. Needs analysis and choice of location:Identification of regions in Cameroon where educational opportunities are limited and sewing is in demand. The involvement of the local community and young people is important from the beginning to understand needs and expectations.
2. Structure of the sewing shop: Procurement of sewing machines, fabrics, sewing utensils and work surfaces. The sewing shop should provide an appropriate environment in which young people can work safely.
3. Education and training:Hiring experienced seamstresses or sewing masters to teach the youngsters the basics of sewing. This includes sewing clothes, accessories and other textile products.
4. income generation: The young people are paid for their sewing work on site, which allows them to earn their own income. This promotes their independence and financial independence.
5. Product sales in Germany: The manufactured products are exported to Germany and sold there. Proceeds go to charitable projects or organizations that promote education and support for underprivileged youth.
6. awareness raising and marketing: In Germany, the story behind the products can be emphasized - how the youth in Cameroon are supported through their sewing work. This creates a connection between the buyers and the project.
7. Monitoring and evaluation: Regular review of the project to ensure that the set goals are achieved. Collect youth and community feedback to enable continuous improvement.
